The groomer that routinely works on Levi seems to be under the mistaken assumption that he (Levi) is a she. Or that he is a he, but has a latent desire to dress as a she. I mean, he *is* fixed, but give the poor guy a break.

I have never mentioned anything to her because really....who cares, but I always leave wondering why the other boy dogs that are heading home with their humans when I come to pick Levi up are wearing macho kerchiefs jauntily tied around their necks while my sweet boy is adorned in sparkling ribbons and bows. Ribbons and bows, I may add, that usually end up being eaten, digested and deposited in the backyard in a colorful seasonal display of red and greens at Christmas, oranges and blacks at Halloween and bright pastels in the spring.

Not being able to stand the stench of "DOG" in my house any longer, and growing weary of vacuuming up drifts and drifts of downy, white undercoat over the past few weeks, I scheduled him in for a visit today. When I picked him up he was positively bedecked in shimmery yellow bows....as pretty as an Easter bonnet. I hugged him and scratched his ears and said "OOHHHH....what a handsome boy you are...." to which to groomer replied "He is just so pretty it seems a waste not to doll him up a bit".
Poor Levi.

Oh, take off the bows. He looks so unhappy. Our Nicky, a female, always came home from the groomer's with the "macho kerchiefs jauntily tied around" her neck.
Ohhh too funny- I have tears in my eyes! My daughter would have said something really loud to the groomer! He looks so sad in the last picture!
Yeah, this is something that would happen to a pet of mine.
He's beautiful, by the way.
